    Corolla Sr

no not really looking to modify it at all, might think about a filter maybe but no intentions of doing much to it, quite like the look on the facelifted model as well, looks quicker than the old one. plus the mpg is suppose to be a bit better as but not sure if they are as good as the old ones

    Corolla Sr

i use to own a 98 Corolla sr and then i changed jobs and got a Puegeot 306dturbo for economy but blew the s**t out of it last week. i have decide also that the fuel economy wasnt that great. anyway i want to come back and am going to get another corolla. however i was looking at the SR with the facelift that came out in/around 2000 with the different lights and interior, as well as 6speed. Its also the vvti engine and i was just wondering what peoples advice is on which one is the better car. cheers

    Tyres

phoned kwik fit just now and they reckon that it will knacker the handling and can put the speedo out.

    Tyres

so i should be able to fit slightly wider tyres on the alloys that i have at the moment

    Tyres

the ones i want are a lower profile and a little bit wider 185 instead of 175 and 55 instead of 65. Would fuel consumption be upset by much?

    Tyres

there of mytyres.com should i just give kwik fit a ring

    Tyres

the standard alloys on the corolla sr 1.6 take a 175/65/r14 tyre. I am getting four brand new ones but was wondering if they will take 185/55/r14. Might seem like a stupid question to some but aint no mechanic. Cheers <_<
  8. so i take it from another post your not going to japfest tomorrow but doing a 1/4 mile run. hope it goes well
  9. think that the k&n seems like a good idea if it comes with the cold air feed included. Think i might go for that one
  10. there were plenty of those out there but wouldn't bother rather get something that is meant for my car. what have you got on yours
  11. iv'e always thought more of ramair than k&n when it comes to motor racing but for a road car i wasnt quite sure. Are the prices pretty much the best i would get the, they seem ok to me.
  12. Next Monday is pay day and i will be getting a decent filter on the car. The two choice that i have come across are the ramair filter that is on the fensport website inc vat and delivery comes to £76.83. http://www.fensport.co.uk/parts.htm The second one is a k&n filter inc vat and delivery is £77.94 http://filternuts.com/kn/filters.asp?id=70...Toyota&yom=1998 Out of these which one do you think is the better of the 2. Or any other suggestion. Cheers
  13. quick question i blew a tyre on the way too work this morning the car is left in a lay by and want to grab some prices for a new one. On the 98 rolla sr with the wolfrace alloys what size are the tyres. Cant get back to the car till tonight cheers
