  1. it is really starting to annoy me lol :@ strange how they seem to fix themselves though, i think i am just going to have to ignore it as like you said dropping the tank for the sake of a bulb is kinda OTT off the subject though... do either of you or anyone else know of a decent alarm immobiliser system that will work with turbo timer, and also incorporate the likes of remote start, remote central locking, jacking sensors etc... the full works also what do you think of the remote start im only really looking at that so the turbo has time to warm up especially on cold days as i dont enjoy sitting in a cold car waiting for it to warm up, i heard that other alarms that get fitted dont like working with the timer because obv the engine is still running after its switched off and locked... not sure if this is right thanks lee
  2. hi, i ran my mr2 down until the fuel light came on, i stopped filled up with £40 of fuel and started her up, yet the fuel light was still on and has been ever since, this was about 4 days ago and it is still on verytime i turn my ignition on, is there a reset or something i can do? or is this now a tank out/lift pump problem? thanks

  4. hi guys, rebuild has hit a go slow at the moment :( been very busy with work and changing of jobs and all :( although now i am looking at boosting again lol, i am so indecisive, need to sort myself out, hopefully getting the body kit fitted this wkend or next, or at least trying to find out how to mount it securely. i am looking at sending the engine off for a rebuild as i am running short on time at the moment and space, and that way it can be done a lil quicker and get put in the car, does anyone know of a company that rebuild 4age engine to custom spec? e.g cams, maybe rebore but dont want to weaken the engine as i am lookin at a turbo conversion, obv the turbo kit, not sure whether to go for intercooler or chargecooler? dont know much about charge coolers... any help? port matched, gas flowed etc thanks lee
  5. will the tvis be negatively effected by the cams at all? and i read somewhere that the 4age engine does not like induction kits, i was looking at buying a K&N typhoon kit or something similar, what do you think? i was looking at lightweight pulleys but the only problem is then i will have to get the whole crank and flywheel lightened accordingly otherwise there is a problem of snapping the crank isnt there? because of it being out of balance and all? thanks guys :D
  6. hi guys, i now have my suspension which i bought off this site from (ae111sr) which i am now getting ready to get all sprayed up :D and i now have an engine for the car :D i moved away from the boosted engine idea for money and insurance purposes, sad about it, but cant have it all YET!! ;) i have bought a 1.6 16v 4age engine from a mk1 mr2, it is the later engine with the big 7 rib block and tvis, also the bigport head :D anybody have any links they can send me for any internal tuning parts...e.g race road cams, adjustable pulley's etc etc, as i am now going through the stages of a full engine rebuild for her, will be getting a re-bore to take her out slightly more please give me your feedback :D thanks lee will upload pictures of suspension and engine throughout the process :D

  9. the brace in my picture is a genuine part apparently, as i have been told it used to be sold on fensport website, also john with the supercharged corolla on this site has the exact same brace on his car, which he said is off a celica, but i cant seem to find one :( the brace on ultra racing looks nice, i am thinking of just fabricating my own strut brace, it wont be too much hard work, and will work out cheaper :) can u get me a link to the rear strut brace please i cant seem to find it :S :( thanks lee

  11. i am looking for a spoiler for my e10, i think both of these really suit the corolla, so would be on the look out for both that are on the video. something like what is already on this corolla on youtube on the video AT 26 SECONDS!!!!! can you please keep your eyes open, or if you know of one already please let me know as i have been looking for a little while now and still connot find one :( thanks :)
  12. thats the thing mate there not that many 4agze out there, thats why i went for the 3sgte as there is loads out there (and i was on a budget)what sort of money you looking to spend? are you looking to do the work your self? have you looked on fensport web site for conversions i was looking at a 3sgte but quite a lot of work to be done isnt there? gotta change the chassis legs and all the mounts dont you? not too sure how much i wanna spend rele, depends what i find, probs around 1500/2000, yh i wanna do the work myself, had a look on fensport and thats where i got the idea for the 4agze, as especially as it will be quite different coz there arent many about yeah you have to make mounts bud, you can run std shocks with celica springs if you want, yeah a little more work than a 4agze but more power from std nah not on about the shocks m8, on about the main chassis legs/bars that run up to the front, coz the fwd 3sgte engine is wider than the standard 4agze or 4efe, how much work is it? is it worth the hassle?
  13. at the moment i am looking at a N/A engine but there's just something about turbo's and superchargers that really gets me going lmao :) just hearing the turbo scream and the dump valve letting off haha i may have to go N/A for now but will deffinatley want to go turbo soon, what does everyone think of the 4age block with tvis big port head? lee
  14. It's not easy to get that out of a 4A-GZE. I've added Fensport pulley, Aquamist water injection, port matched cylinder head and a professionally mapped Motec standalone emgine management (the list goes on) - it's still only 198bhp To get any more you will need cams and a gas flowed head. Good luck finding one. If you're looking for suspension take a look at my advert here thanks mate, im looking at quite a few different engine now and considering what everyone has said, i am really interested in the suspension :D can you pm me your number and i will try and phone you tonite or tomorro night if thats ok? how much do they lower the front and rear by? sorry if it already says in the advert lol im at college at the moment :)thanks lee
