  1. Looks like they have also reintroduced the colour coded door protectors as used on the last Aygo Blue. One of the main reasons I bought it in the first place! So much better looking than the add-on pack and essential to stop those little dents picked up in supermarket car parks. Might be tempted to upgrade from the Blue now. New grill looks like the 107 but I prefer the latter smilely face.
  2. Just bung it in a full tank of fuel Thanks for the confirmation Dave. Will do! Cheers Not sure if`ll you`ll notice a difference especially if your fuel systems already pretty clean ;) Its often cheap on ebay so hope you didn`t pay too much for it. Yep, that's where I sourced it. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-TOYOTA-FUEL-INJECTION-CLEANER-/251001646839?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a70dd2ef7
  3. Thanks Red, it suggests "rtfm" why do I always forget.
  4. Just bung it in a full tank of fuel Thanks for the confirmation Dave. Will do! Cheers
  5. Thanks for your reply Acetip. Unfortunately there are no directions on the bottle, as to use, only a multi-language pull-out warning label telling you how avoid contact with the stuff.
  6. Has anyone used this toyota product? Do you just pour it into the fuel tank and let it run through while driving? Any reply would be welcome. Thanks.
  7. Now available at £6.72 delivered http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360343849104&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:GB:1123
  8. This is the main reason for doing my own service. I have heard that some Toyota dealerships are not using the recommended manufacturers oil grade, (as stated in the owners handbook) atleast if I do it myself I know it is to specification. I am sure that if there was more demand for this grade the price would come down, at the moment it appears to command a healthy premium.
  9. Thanks for the reply Kav, I always forget to do a world-wide search on Ebay.
  10. Mort and Mbellinger, Thanks for the heads up, the Motul Eco oil seems to be the way to go. Good price too with the 10% discount. I hope the oil price drops by the next time I need a service. Maybe there will be more suppliers as the number of new cars needing this oil grade increases.
  11. Excellent clear and concise post, love the well composed photographs. Ever thought about making a service manual.
  12. Thanks for the reply. I dont know if they would be suitable for the Aygo. They seem to be all for racing oils.
  13. Hi all, I have been looking to source myself a set of genuine service parts for my '09 plate Aygo Blue and have nearly got everything I need but I having trouble getting the 3.1L of 0W-20 oil required, it seems it is not widely stocked in the Uk at present. The best deal I have found is 4L of Mobil 1 0W-20 from amazon @ £46.99, just wondering if any member knows of a better deal? http://www.amazon.co.uk/MOBIL-0W-20-Synthetic-Engine-Oil/dp/B004CSIUSK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1297788867&sr=8-1
  14. Listing for the latest version of glovebox lid on ebay, £25.99 with free delivery- there going like hot cakes though - you need to be quick to get one. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GENUINE-TOYOTA-AYGO-GLOVE-BOX-LID-STORAGE-COVER-RHD-/150534466150?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item230c8daa66 Unfortunately price now increased to £28.49 but still with free delivery. I think they must have originally priced it wrong but over 40 people managed to buy one and they honored that price. I can confirm that this item being sold is the newest glovebox lid with the rectangular pull-down catch - now fitted - does appear to have a very positive locking action.
