  1. Dublin All Ireland Champions 2011, up de dubs !!!

  2. Howya I think you might need a the shock aswell from what i can determine from the toyodiy site the spring and the shock are "ireland spec" http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_E_2004_TOYOTA_AVENSIS_ZZT250R-AEMNKW_4804.html i think you'd be better off getting the eibach springs as i 've seen them for £150 (E10-82-016-03-22) rather than getting new toyota parts or even second hand, but i would check with eibach if they will work with the "ireland spec" shocks. also if you have 17" wheels and put on 215/45 tyres they will be smaller in diameter than the standard 205/55/16 . only by about 1.5% 9
  3. Howya darran You have an irish car with the rough road package or on toyodiy( http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_E_2004_TOYOTA_AVENSIS_CDT250R-AEMEYW_4803.html ) known as "ireland spec" its not the springs that are different to the uk models its as far as i remember 3 smaller parts top and bottom of the springs. (i might be wrong there) i have an irish avensis but i got toyota juno 17"s with 215/45 tyres on it , the handling on the corners is vastly improved . i talked to a guy in toyota garage who had the lowered springs on his estate said it handled fantastic with the springs and the 17's but he wouldn't recomend the 18's . eibach make the springs for TTE so get eibach same model save a few bob. The springs will drop the car 30mm but because its the rough road package it'll probaly drop it by 15 to 20 mm which will look good with 17's. though at the moment i'm looking at putting on 225/45/17 's on because that would be the correct size tyre but the alloy is only 7" wide but it should still go on. I hope you could follow all of that 9
  4. they don't have them, and they do exist cause i've seen them on my car
  5. Very informative post, thanks for that. In your research have you seen anyway of cleaning the projector without having to dismantle the whole headlight?
  6. Thank you lads that was what i wanted to hear
  7. Hi I have 215/45/17 tyres on 17x7 juno rims. Will these rims take a 225/45/17 without any problems. Thanks in advance.
  8. I'm jealous Gregore. Do you want to sell me your old grille? ;)
  9. Hey george i just noticed your reverse light is on the other side to mine. You should get a uk rear left and put a red bulb in to it!!!
  10. doesn't seem to be any difference between saloon and wagon. Part numbers according to Toyodiy are front right 75731-05901 rear right 75741-05901 front left 75732-05901 rear left 75742-05901 i'd say your looking at approx £200 from Mr T
  11. coilovers will be a waste of time and money , the eibach springs are your best bet, TRD and TTE branded springs are made by eibach and you can use them with the original dampers too. The springs are made in such a way as to not make the ride to hard but if you do drive hard they will stiffen. don't know the technical details about it but if you like your car don't buy cheap stuff for it.
  12. After 2 minutes of searching i found these http://www.ruderacing.co.uk/Suspension-Lowering_Springs-Toyota_Springs-Toyota_Avensis_%281997-03%29_Springs/c711_3875_4062_4063/index.html and i'm sure you will find more if you look a bit harder
  13. Hi Just want to check this, The interior dome/festoon lights on a 04 are c5w/t10 44mm is this right? thanks

  16. Very nice george , i like it, now get some nice alloy wheels
  17. so, has anyone ever used them?
  18. Has any one tried ceramic brake pads on their avensis? if so where did ya get them and how do you find them. i'm just sick of having to clean the dust of my new alloys , i get maybe two days before i notice the build up of dust and i thought ceramic might be a better option. all opinions please
  19. As far as i know (90% definite) the 2.2 is the only avensis model(t25) that has a pcd of 5x114 all the other models are 5x100 if you want to be 100% positive ring a couple of toyota dealers and ask them , or send a message to member PARTS KING with your vin number and he'll tell ya
  20. is the hiss more noticable when the fuel tank is full? if so its the fuel gauge indicator going up and down when you turn the ignition on or off....... my theory
  21. Keep the pictures coming george, those lights will look great with a black grille
  22. Beagh, on the polish plate car it's all photoshop . Its what george wants it to look like.I have seen it on a japanese car though George , with the new "widow " style lights your side/parking lights won't be reflected at all , but i like the effect. can't wait to see the finished pictures, its very hard to find a grille here as their are no avensis in the scrapyards. check out my new led lights , i like to call them my daytime running lights. double fogs in second pic
  23. found one in australia, hope this helps http://www.icaraccessories.com.au/p/837530/sunland-dashmat-toyota-avensis-1201---current---t6906.html
  24. http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/wheeloffset.html technical explanation Your avensis 2.2 PCD 5 x 114 your mondeo PCD 5 x 108 the 5 holes will not match up buy some cheaper steel wheels for the winter tyres , the new rubber on the mondeos alloys(aluminium wheels) may not fit the avensis wheels. best thing is sell the wheels and buy new ones for the avensis
