Hello all, I'm trying to install new bulbs to my headlamps but my hands seems to be too big. It all seems pretty straight forward, remove the connector then turn bulb anti clockwise to remove. However I cant get my hands in to get a good enough grip. Any ideas?

Hi all, I need help. I'm trying to aquire a new lock nut socket to suit my locking wheel nuts on my Rav4. I left the socket attached to the wheel and decided to go for a drive, doh.... Now I have a set of wheels I cant get of the car. I have phoned Toyota, to which they said that I need a 3 digit code for the correct socket. Trouble is I dont have the number all I have is the product code for the set of nuts that on the car. 00090-03013-B Is there a way to match the numbers up? Any input would be appreciated. I have been quoted £56 + vat for removing the nuts from the Toyota dealer (thats each wheel folks!!), which makes me think that was there goal all the time. Does anyone know if it's possible to lift the suspension on Rav4 2002. Want to raise it 2 or 3 inches. There are kits available from the States or Australia, but cant find anything over here. Has anyone done this, if yes then can you point me in right direction Cheers Indica

Dosen't sound good. I may have the same camber problem with my rear wheels. I my rear wheels checked this morning and my left is at -1.39 and right -1.41. I admit I dont understand all the techy stuff. But when you look from the back you can see a difference in angle from the front. Anyway, I thought it would be a quick fix. Not the case. The mechanic could not budge the nut after an hour of doing what mechanics do. I heard someone hitting metal with a hammer at one point. He even showed me the bolt that he'd being trying to adjust. It was rusted solid. He's going to give me a price for replacing a concentric washer and bolt? I dont like the sound of 10 hours labour at £50ph+ vat plus parts. What happens if I just left it as it is? I've only had it 6 weeks and havent noticed any wear on the tyres, juddering, whine or anything like that. :( Indica

Hello all, Been a Toyota driver for the past 3 years but have only recently joined this site. Recently had to change from my celica t sport to Rav4. (best car I have ever had, really sad to see it go :( ) The new dog was ruining the back seats. Hi all, I'm a bit out of my depth on this. I'm replacing my crappy cassette player from my Rav4 vx 2002 and I need a wiring diagram. Basically, there are a lot more wires in the back of the existing unit compared to the new unit. I'm getting an auto-electrician to fit the new one but thought I would be pro-active and get all the info he may need prior to fitting the new unit. Anybody wanting a double din cassette unit with 6cd changer. I was planning just to bin it. But if there is someone there that wants it you would just need to pay for the postage only. Thanks Indica

Hello, Can you tell me if Rav4 2002 have any history with clunky gears when changing up or down. The gears dont stick or refuse to go into gear, they just feel a bit stiff and and clunk into gear. Is this a common occurence and if it is how do i fix it? Thanks Indica

Hi there. I have just bought a Rav4 VX 2002 and was wondering if I could straight swap the double din head unit with a slightly newer one. The existing is a cassette player with a 6cd changer with mileage, fuel consumption etc. Until recently I had a 2003 Celica T Sport that had a very similar head unit but with a cd slot rather than a cassette player. Looks exactly the same as the cassette type but trip computer wasnt hooked up. With them both being Toyota, is it just a stright swap over? And if so where would I get a 2nd hand head unit?
