ok, i am in australia [if that matters], and i have a 78 RA40 coupé.
it runs a "stock'' 18-rc sohc.
i dont want to run a non-crossflow head, as it hampers my performance, and restricts boosting options, due to space contrictions... [temporary blow-through setup, tb03 turbo, 38dgms weber ect].
this car is earmarked for a 1g-gte conversion, so dont just say swap the engine.
what i want to know is, are there any sohc/dohc crossflow alternate heads for said engine?
and on what vehicle are they most commonly found.
thank you for your assistance.

ohhhhkaaayy,
for a custom 4a-gte i say one of these:
garrett gt25---good response, ball bearing and can safely boost past 25psi
garrett gt 30 as above but bigger, 30+psi
garrett gt45 for total overkill drag-racing motors, pick a psi
or if you want useless wa|\|k factor, as this will not spool, a trust T-88-34D.
or not...lol
but go the garretts.
