  1. Points noted thanks guys!! ;) Ordered BG244 :) My trusted mechanic friend will do as suggested next week!! :D
  2. Evening ladies and gents, long time no see!! :-) Car seems to have developed a flat spot below 2000 rpm, once it hits 2200 - 2500 rpm it pulls strongly as it should. There are no fault codes stored, no noises or smoke to notice, it doesn't appear to be using anymore fuel. The car has been driven with scanner plugged in, the map sensor seems to be reading correct, turbo actuator seems to be moving and free, EGR valve is shutting under load, fuel pressure looks correct. The command and actual throttle valve readings don't seem to match?? Has anyone had any similar issues / experiences of this?? Many thanks in advance Parky
  3. Hi hope you dont mind me contacting you just wondering if you could help me out with something.I noticed that you said on one of your threads that you know of a Toyota dealer that can take the support rinf off the rim on a T180 so that you can put normal tyres on it,when you do this does the tyre pressure warning system still work or do you have an annoying light flashing on the dash all the time.

  4. Why do Rft's have to be changed by Toyota as suppose to any tyre supplier?? What is the 'special' piece of equipment needed?? I know rft's are a common query on here...apologies if my question has been covered before but I appreciate your input folks Many thanks
  5. Thanks for everyone's help and advice ;) After all that it was a faulty speaker - that was brand new!! :ffs: :(
  6. Many thanks for the advice Chris - I will have a look at it tomorrow PM
  7. Where did you get this lot from? It is a list of the full kit. If it is all new genuine parts just unplug that isolating switch and try again. The ECU picks up a feed and earth from the n/s light plug. Have you got this? http://www.toyota-tech.eu/legacy/Toy/aimuploads/%7B01516C32-6B55-976A-1008-A9BE0DF36B55%7D/TPA400%20PZ464-X0428-00%20AIM%20000%20525-6.pdf All new genuine Toyota parts - the old style kit as suppose to updated version What will unplugging the isolating switch do then?? I won't have the car until Mon PM now :o Sorry for being trying Anchs :( Have you tested the switch? It is only there as an option so the sensor system can be isolated when towing. If it is broken internally it could be in a permanent off position. I suspect this is what Anchs is thinking. Could be totally wrong though........... I have not tested the switch - how would I do that? I take it that I could do away with the switch - bypass it or something?? Appreciate any help/advice given

  9. Previous similar thread suggested using better grade fuel e.g V Power which has all the additives you need!!
  10. Reversing lights are working B) There is power going to the ECU - assume it's 12v Not sure whether it is earthed - how would I know? If you put your ear to sensor there is really faint noise when sensors are obstructed :o Really daft suggestion Has the isolating switch got knocked to the off position. I only ask 'cause I did it Yes I have checked it Appreciate all your help/thoughts guys
