  2. As you know, i work for the Renault Nissan purchasing dpt at Nissan We have had an influx off Toyota buyers come to join, because they felt unsure about the security of their jobs in the purchasing dpt in burnaston - well, on wednesday they announced that its is moving to brussels (just purchasing) He sourced all the dash and IP for current Yaris, Corrola and Avensis, so i got chatting to him as he has sourced the dash and IP for next model Yaris He said it looks totally different to the current model, but couldnt say much else. He did say that Toyota are going to launch an A platform vehicle, a supermini smaller than yaris It is being sourced, designed and built by PSA (peugeot citroen) and will make 100,000 models per brand (citroen, peugeot and toyota) - its one of the first common platform vehicles that they have. This is probably the one with the slidling door, and probably the pug 1006. Toyota dont have a name for it yet, but its pre-SOP name is "B Zero" (just a sourcing ref name) Sorry if you already knew this I also saw the new (minor change) micra today at work, with a 1600cc engine in - quite nice, as well as the new E11A (micra C+C) - looks pretty nice to be honest.

Probably not for moding advice, but prob where she has whacked it into a wall or something.

    Hello Again!

No no, Yaris is still here for the next year or so. Its starting to show its age now, (coming up to 5 years old next feb) so im not sure how long im going to keep it. Cash is always a huge problem when you finish uni! The nissan will go to the mrs when she eventually gets a license. "bit of track here" - dubboy, ive just Pm'd you but i dont think it worked. Do you know where the DVD Rom drive is on the Almera Tino - ive got the navi disc but dont know where to put it. Cheers!!
  7. Hi, Ive just recently had my Yaris repaired after some genius rammed into the back. Here is what happened. I called my insurers (Tesco). They told me to take the car into the local ""approved"" crash centre. They assessed the damage. They then deatiled the damage, and sent it to Tesco via Fax. Tesco paid for the repairs - and i paid the £450 excess that i have on my policy. However, as it was the other drivers fault, Tesco will then claim the money back from her insurers - AXA. With regards to the excess, it can go two ways for me. Tesco will either refund it to me once they have the cash from AXA, or i claim it from her To be safe, i have utilised my Legal Protection that i paid for on my policy. They (Flint solictors) sent me a questionaire, which i have filled in. They are now taking her to court on my behalf to claim back the following 1 ) Excess 2) Loss of earnings for me pratting around taking the car to garages 3) Hire car expenses (note - always take hire car premium on your insurance) 4) Damage to goods that i had in the boot (i.e, a couple of framed photos, case of wine - these where smashed (id just been shopping in MK) Good luck!

    Hello Again!

lol yeah i was waiting to join H6 in Milton Keynes (stupid road names), i was stationary, and so was this women in a tasty rusting white cavalier. Well i moved forward slightly to get a better view of the traffic on the carriageway, and whack. Cavalier had rammed straight into the back of the yaris. Why? She said that i had enough to go, so she went. I was like, errr, wtf? I havent gone yet love. Well i jumped out like a nutter hoping it was a bloke so we could have a brawl in the road (trying to impress the girlfriend :D ), but it was an old women. Car is now fixed, but the repair centre did a crap job, so its going back for a new paint job and new bumper (again) Sadly, ive had to sell the F50 (lol) - i've ordered my second car now , an Almera 2.2dci SXE. Dont laugh, its a company car (i work for Nissan). pretty nippy for an oil burner though , ( 0-60 in 9.2 seconds) chao! :arrgg-matey:

  11. bit dodgy for my liking werent there some killings of brits over there a few weeks ago, related to petrol and the war? id walk mate, is 30k really worth the stress, and potential termoil?
  12. Hey ya As you may know, i start my job with Nissan soon, and im busy juggling council tax, utility bills and rent, with income. Well i found out today, that i get paid on the 25th of each month, arrears. So, does that mean on August 25th i get paid for August, or September i.e., does arrears mean i work the month, then get paid for it, or they pay me up front for the month, and then i work it cheers! , just planning a suitable overdraft to sort all this out !
  13. Tis been moved, but where to cheers
