Just Bought Auris 2008 T Spirit- No Aux!

I've just bought a Toyota Auris 2.0 diesel T Spirit model, it doesnt have an Aux socket.

Just wondering what people have done to solve this problem for listening to music from an mp3 player or mobile?

My options are:

- Parrot bluetooth kit from Halfords £220 including fitting, gives me bluetooth plus ipod, aux, and USB sockets in glovebox

- Toyota bluetooth kit - i think this is only going to play music through bluetooth and its £350 i think

- fm transmitter - i've heard sound quality is not as good.

I only want a solution for playing music- bluetooth is a bonus but i already have a bluetooth thingy which I put in my ear to receive calls.

Have you looked in the glove box, on the right hand side? On some models there is an aux socket in this location. Otherwise you'll have to suffer the £220 I guess.

Xcarlink is what you want, iPod control and aux socket that you can put in your glovebox or armrest. It's around £80 straight from their website :)
