Hello, Did you manage to sort out how to connect the ipod?

My wife has a 55 reg Yaris Colour Collection and I would like to get a Connects2 system fitted but, as you say, the C2 systems only seem to go up to 2004.

What about something like this (yeah i know it's an expired link)

Ebay

They fit very well in the Yaris and wouldn't get in the way of the gearstick either when changing gears.

I have the USB version of one of these:

http://www.xcarlink.co.uk/

It works pretty well, and they sell the damned cursed Y-cable, should you need it like I did! (If you have to unplug something else to plug the unit in and your centre console goes dead, you need it )

You need to pick which connector it uses when you buy it to double check that; Don't go by the date of manufacture because it's wrong.

Main downside is it has no AGC or normalizing circuit so you'll need to boost the volume on the iPod or Stereo (Which, in turn, means you'll either go deaf when you put your iPod earphones on or when the car's Traffic Radio thingy cuts in )
