Hi
This probably sounds totally ridiculous [it does to me!] but how on earth do I get into the engine compartment to check fluids and battery? My handbook is in Japanese, and after sitting under a mound of snow for a couple of months it started and run well, but I still haven't got round to checking it. I've been told I have to lift a seat out of the way plus the cubbyhole compartment between the seats but don't know where to start. It's a 2.8 diesel automatic 1993 Hiace import.
Can somebody take pity on me and give me a few clues?
There's also a 3-position check switch on the dashboard.....what is that for?
Many thanks in advance.
