hi guys...

im about to put a set of mags on my car and lower it..i have been told that it will only drop 30mm with a standard suspension kit.

i was told that a custom kit with compressed springs and shortened shocks with lower it to 50mm.

just want to know if it is recommended and will a set of 17" mags look good over a set of 18".

if a reputable company is supplying the shocks to do it and the springs suit, its should be alright. the shorter shaft will remove the issues of excessive wear and attacking hte bumpstops every time its pushed hard.

as for hte wheels......swings and roundabouts. 18's can look mega on 30/40mm drops. 17's look good but need the right tyre to keep them looking right on a 30-40mm drop. i always felt that 18''s look heavier on hte car so would go 17 myself. plus the bigger you go, the more you highlight the fact that the TS has average brakes. nice car + nice wheels + nice drop = upgraded brake kit....gota complete the look ;)
