List Of Oil Burning 1Zz-Fe Engines

Hi All,

A lot has been said about the oil burning issue by early 1ZZ-FE engines

but can anyone refer me to the official description of the defect in a

service bulletin and/or other Toyota document?

Is there a document with the list of serial numbers of ALL affected engines?

Or at least stating the date when the last affected engine was made.

all of the engines are out of their extended warranty now......we never got any all we got told was top the oil up to the top drive for 1000 miles if it uses more than 1lrt replace the short block...

Yes I am aware I will have to finance it myself. The idea is to swap my engine for another used engine rather than overhaul the former. But I have to know for sure that I am buying a modified 1ZZ-FE with this defect fixed.
