Heater Problems

Morning All,

My 2001 Avensis 1.8VVTi is giving problems with the heater.

Set out on a run with the heater temperature control set to mid range & Air Con set to OFF.

Five miles into the trip the dashboard vents are blowing hot but the floor vents are now blowing cold. Twiddling with the temerature control sometimes cures the problem for a mile or so then its back to cold from the floor vents. Has anyone else come across this problem.

Check your coolant (water) level under the bonnet. If it's low the heater might be drawing in air bubbles.
