Electrical Problems

I've recently had a new clutch fitted on my Toyota celica 2.0 1998 now now my ABS light is on and my car stereo, cigarette lighter doesn't work. I've looked at my fuses and they seem fine.

Any suggestions please?

ABS and cigarette lighter are on different fuses (two for the ABS I think), I can't imagine why both would blow at the same time. You did check all of them though? Toyota tend to scatter them about, there are fuse boxes under the dashboard as well as in the engine compartment.

As far as the ABS goes, to replace the clutch, the mechanic probably removed the transmission. In order to do that they'd have to drop the drive axles as well so they could swing the wheels out of the way. If they did that without disconnecting the wiring harness, they may have damaged it. Or if they did remember to unplug it, they may have forgotten to plug it back in again. Either way, they shouldn't have handed the car back to you with the ABS light on if it wasn't on when you took it to them.
