Custom Aygo Key?

So just a quick thought that popped into my head: could i make my normal aygo key, into a flip key? can you replace the metal key bit? will the circuit board in the key fit with a bit or modification?

If anyone knows how/has done this could you share your experience?

The New Yaris has the Flip out key as standard........It might be an idea to check the cost of these as a replacement for your existing Aygo key

You might need a large wallet however! :)

Yes cost is a huge factor, it was just something i was thinking of. Do you know if you can replace the metal bit that actually starts the car on all keys? im not too fussed about the wireless locking and unlocking.

You'll need the chip that's in your key to start the car unless you strap your key out of sight right next to the ignition barrel so the chip can be recognised by the sentinal around the barrel otherwise it will never start
