Space Saver Wheel For Auris Hybrid

I have 2014 Auris Hybrid which I purchased from new in July.I have managed to get a space saver wheel from a Auris Hybrid 2013 and can anyone tell me if this is suitable for 2014 model. Thank you

If they're both the same new shape then chances are it will. If it's the old shape Auris I wouldn't have a clue. There does seem to be some standardisation with these space savers so maybe give it a try or check with your dealer.

Thanks for the info,it's different in looks to the 2014 wheel that is shown on eBay site.Its a 17" wheel but some wheels are shown with holes cut around the centre mine is a solid wheel.As you suggest I will pop into Toyota and check.

Good luck with that...the 2014 space saver does not fit the 2014 Auris. It is too high and causes the boot carpet to not lay flat.

Given the manual shows configurations with both a spacesaver and full-size wheel, is it possible to buy the necessary parts to suit either?

I asked for a space-saving which is a steel /get you home type tyre. This was the only one available in the salaman's price book of extras.

The overall circumference is the same as a standard 17 inch rim and tyre. It is just too fat to fit under the carpet without lifting the said carpet, the bay that the tyre fits into is not deep enough.

The handbook shows two different sorts of spare but only one seems available from Toyota.
