Well hello, finally back in a Toyota again, thought id join the forum and hopefully attend some club meetings in the future.

My name is Darrell, 25 from West Sussex and also Essex. Currently on toyotaownersclub.com and corollaclub.net, I have have many cars over the years (some good, some crap) none the less whatever car i own i keep it clean and look after it.

I previously had a Toyota Starlet Glanza V, 200bhp with lots and lots of jdm goodies, sadly had to sell up due to lossing my job at the time. I've o ly recently purchased a Corolla SR d4d E12, love it to bits.

*Pictures to follow*

Cheers,

Darrell

Thanks guys for the welcome.

Uncle Buck:- modding bug will kick in, having a straight pipe exhaust from turbo back. Just prepping it for winter atm (polish, mainly waxing alot the car alot). But boost gauge (keep a eye on turbo), new wheels and few other goodies.

Bought it 3 years ago & wasn't sure how long i'd keep it ! But one set of Eibach springs, steel braided brake hoses & Mtec discs with Mintex pads later ..... Oh and a set of Dare ST rims for summer, lol.

Ahh, the modding bug !

Sounds good, suspension and brake upgrades! How do you rate the eibach's? I Keep having the coilover comments from friends etc but i'm after a more practical lowered ride height that wont jar my back.

If I had just bought the SR, then I'd make the choice of buying a set of BC Racing coilovers because they're damn good. Adjustment for height & damping control makes them jack-of-all-trades. But at the time I just couldn't afford them & it's a bit late in the day now. I will probably change to a petrol engine next year as my commute should reduce.

The Eibach's are excellent and offer better body control, but with only a 10mm drop still give great ride comfort.
