Hello all,

I have been looking for an auris sr180/ t180 for quite along time and researched some of the head gasket/ engine issues found with the 2AD engine and found charliefalies helpful post about Toyota 'extended warranty'.

John at Lindop has helped me choose a late model November 2009 model and I found a silver/ blue with fsh which I am collecting on Wednesday - big thank-you to John at Lindop as I have bugged him with many questions.

Also, bought a Lindop tuning device as even I test drove 4 cars before buying I find the power delivery to be non-linear and think this device will help.

Will be getting the car serviced and Terraclean'ed soon and detailed - it's a lease car and needs a little tlc on the inside and outside.

I have been mainly into vag engines and have modified most of my cars using allard, oscarli and jabbasport. I think my honda accord 2.2 i-cdti started opening my eyes to Japanese cars and I will be sad to let it go.

Anyway, looking forward to driving the Auris.
