Hi,



I have a 1998 Prado TX 3L Diesel that is running great. I recently
found myself in thick sand and decided to try to engage 4 wheel low
ratio, but was unable to move the 4x4 gear lever at all. The only
instructions are in Japanese and there are several buttons (PWR and 2ND)
which I don't understand. There is a separate diff lock switch on the
dash, as well. Does anyone know if there is a particular sequence for
engaging low ratio 4 wheel drive or is my gear lever more likely jammed
from never being used?
