Mk1 High Idle

Morning all I have a SWB Mk1 manual that idles fairly high, higher than I would like (around 1200rpm). I have this morning cleaned out the throttle body and noticed then when it starts the throttle linkage come off it's stop. Is this electronically controlled or is there an idle screw that will help me with this? Any advice very much appreciated Thanks
