Decat Help!

Hi, currently fitting a decat to my st202 jap import. Got 2 rusted bolts angled off, was all chuffed until I saw the sensor in the original cat!

Now it doesn't seem to corrospond to my new decat pipe. Do I need to order another decat specially for my import? Or does the sensor need to be fitted at all?

Ok after much research I've figured out its a heat sensor and should be fine tied out of the way.
