Is there anyway to check oil/fluid level on a 2.0d4d manual gearbox?I was tinkering around with tyre pressures and could smell a strong oily smell very like transmission fluid.had the dmf and clutch done last year and hasn't done 1000miles on it .just wondering if I can see the level of it.

1cd-ftv takes 2.5 litres, have car level ramp or on ground, crack refill nut 24mm pour gearbox oil until it over flows. 75w/90
