Smart entry and Toyota registration

Hi! We have just acquired our first Toyota and we are very pleased with it. I'd be grateful if someone could explain one thing we are unsure about. The car has push button  Smart Start (ie  keys in the pocket type), but does not appear to have Smart Entry as I cannot get it to work and there is no lock button on the tail gate and no touch marks on the door handles as indicated in the Toyota manual, so does this particular model have Smart Start only  and no Smart entry?  Thanks for any assistance.

The car is an Auris Icon Plus hybrid 1.8  5 door 2014

Hi,

That sounds right, you can have smart start without smart entry, Its just down to what the original buyer had asked for.
