Rattling Door!

On certain tracks, not necessarily heavy bass ones, one's with certain frequencies i think it is, my left door rattles a little bit.

Iv gaffer taped the whole of the inside nearly, so it isn't the plastic flapping, i'm pretty sure it's the actual door panel being vibrated by the speaker (they are very good Speakers!)

Anybody got any ideas on how to stop this? Would Dynomat work? Either around the speaker or o the inside of the door panel?

Any help is much appreciated as i daredn't listen to music at anything above normal on some tracks as rattles drive me insane!!!!

*EDIT* 400 posts - woo hoo!

I thought dynomat was quite expensive, if it doesn't work you've spent money for no reason

I can do both sides for £8.99 basic kit, or £12.99 for the xtreme kit! Think i'll have to give it a try. Will it stick to the inside of the panel? Or do you ahve to put it on the door?

P.S. When i had my panel off, testing for the rattles inside the door, i noticed that my Speakers have blue LED's in them which flash with the bass!! Didn't know that!

one possible cause of the rattle could be the cone of the speaker extending till it touches the door panel. happened to me. had to 1) reposition speaker, 2) reduce height of spacer

I had a feeling it could be that... as the rubber bits round the outside of the speaker do bounce when a song gets going! I can't really reduce the size of the spacer... it's a plasit autoleads one, and it's rivetted to the door, and i can't be bothered to drill it out again! i'll work something out! I'll try the dynomat first though!
