Got a head scratcher at work and a presentation in 15 mins.

Can anyone link to some good retail sites they use? By 'good' I mean easy to use/navigate... nice design etc... If they sell entertainment items then even better!

Your choices are actually very interesting as nearly all of them contain a very familiar navigation system called Tabs. This is a point of discussion at the moment.

Basically it's quite a dated system and something my presentation was about.

It's extremely valuable to get user opinions and not designer opinions as they will nearly always differ. This has been confirmed by your choices.

yeah, in all honesty im a fan of the tab system (Amazon was the earliest i remember) where it was easy to find a category and then work within that...

i hate multi-level menus, they drive me nuts, and search engines are great if you get relavent results...
