Our super trusty 5yr old Yaris 1.3 SR has just had its 50,000 mile service and we were told both drive shafts will need replacing shortly at £500 each from toyota plus then fitting on top its pretty expensive, anybody know if you can get these from anywhere else, i'm a little disappointed the cars been fantastic but I would have thought the driveshafts would last longer than 50,000 miles, also the front discs and pads need changing again £176 this is the second set of discs worn out its genuinly not driven hard... :(

I was browsing Dewsbury Salvage's website the other day, they had loads of Yaris breaking (I've not used them before, so don't know how good their service is). I think there was also one breaking on eBay. Might be worth getting second had if you can get decent ones from a very low mileage car.
