How Do You Rate The Dastek Unichip?

Just managed to get a hold of a second hand one with a boost module for £120 (obviously it needs mapped)

I was thinking it's a going to be better than getting a EBC and AFC. Also cheaper as they are both £200ish each, then mapping also.

I used to have one on my old Mr2 Turbo and it done the job great. Just curious if anyone has any friends with them etc and have any experiance?

I mentioned it on the skyline forum and nobody likes them... between you and me, I think they're all snobs. lmao.

Cheers for any input!

I have one on my Roadster.. cost £500 or so fitted and mapped at Dastek in fife. I got an extra 10 - 15BHP together with a new exhaust (fitted at same time)

I noticed a nice difference at first, but I somehow can't get over the feeling that this little car needs just that little bit more (that is in the pipeline ;) ), but all in not bad at what it does, and descent value for the money.

Yeah, I'm just going to be using it in the mean time with my current mods. It seems a cheaper option than a EBC and AFC.

Then when I go larger turbo etc, I'll get something like an Apexi PFC.
