This has to be one of my strangest loads yet.

On Friday I had to deliver 20 tones of water to Malvern  The up side was it went to Malvern St James College which was an all girls establisment ;) .

When I went to the main entrance for the site location they were having a coffee morning for the cancer trust and asked if I wanted one (Fnarr-Fnarr), I said no but I did have some water if they wanted

So......Deliver 20 tons of water nearly 200 miles to...................Fill up two holes!!!!

One of the holes

Who can guess why the two holes were filled up? ;)

Its a very deep hole with a big fire at the bottom

There is a very big pump at the bottom that needs priming.

Was it for use on the construction site for mixing concrete?

Could they not get the water from somewhere else?

That's what I keep wandering. Maybe they need all their water for bottling (I'm sure I've seen bottles of Malvern Water)

see how deep 20 tones of water is?

That tank was full to the brim and it held 5556 US gallons

to see where the holes went?

You're very close with this ;)

It was to check the sub soil drainage

It was intended to fill the hole, let it drain, then fill again to check the seepage rate........

Unfortunately after filling both holes the water level never dropped at all! :o ......looks like they have a problem

Where did the water come from? (as in where it was stored, I don't want a science lesson before the smartubiks start)
