Hi All,

So who else isnt doing much tonight? I've cooked dinner and dropped the Parents off, it's quite sad when I'm the 23 yr old who drops off the Parents at a party instead of the other way round . I think we're gonna have the radio on and an alcoholic drink or two shortly!

Anyway Happy 2008 everyone hope it brings you all you want! :D

Well Blue I am over twice your age and a boring old sod and I am in for the night

If I wanted to go out this evening to anywhere other than a private party then I would be charged an arm and a leg to get in anywhere. Flippin pubs and that like really rip people off :censor:

So I'll be at home with a drink or three making sure I dodge the rubbish programmes on tv

just me n the dog tonight.....agreed seeing in the NY is overated and a chance for pubs, club n taxi drivers to charge the earth for what is essentially the opportunity to watch a minute pass then kiss a few peeps, shake hands and sing an old song....wassat grumpy ole cow?.....mebbe i am but im the one without the hangover in the morning and a few quid more richer than the rest of ya pmsl ;)

Well here we are then everyone - officially in 2008 - we watched the London Fireworks on TV, stood outside at midnight to hear the ships sounding their horns down in the docks on the River Thames (it never feels real until I hear them, silly yearly tradition I have got myself I think), done auld lang syne and had 1 alcoholic drink each.....it's not a bad thing staying in at all, especially with the radio/i-tunes on shuffle.

Time for bed shortly, happy 2008 again to all TOCers.
