When I Turn On A/c Theres A Funny Smell?

Anyone have any ideas what it could be ??? when i turn the A/C on somtimes theres a funny smell like peroxide or somthing,,, i know carbon minoxide is odourless so is not that , its just i dont want my customers passing out in my taxi (unless they are drunk)!

It could just be that your A/C condenser has a build up of bacteria on it.

You can get an aerosol that will clean these out, or get it professionally done at any garage.

Not sure but first thing i'd look at is to find out in maybe a Haynes manual if theres a simple solution like changing an air filter. What year or mileage is on it? Have you got the car long or is it a recently developed problem in a car you've had for a while?
