2) I did not have the previous model, only the MY24, but I find the Yaris quiet for a car of this class. Even at highway speeds and under acceleration it is on the same level as cars from classes above.

The Nextbase people are very good on the chat, and seeing that the dealer is able to get into my settings easily, It occured to me that he must have reset the password when the previous owner PX'ed the car. I was given the following info to update the firmware which will also reset the password to the default. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To update the 380GWX Firmware, which will enable you to reset the password to the default 12345678. Connect your Dash Cam to your computer using the USB cable provided in the Dash Cam box. Press and hold the protect button during connection of the USB cable. Release the button once the Wi-Fi button flashes blue. If the dash cam does not appear as a drive on your PC, please press the reset button on the side of your dash cam and try all the USB ports on your computer. Then the Dash Cam will be visible as a removable drive on your computer. If you go into My Computer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) you will be able to see the Dash Cam listed as a drive, usually called NEXTBASE. Double click on this drive. You should then see nextbase.com, nextbase.info and DCIM. Download this Firmware: https://cdn.nextbase.co.uk/firmware/7BBBFBBA-29F1-4B7B-8E3B-C389540068F8/NBDVR380GWA-R13.5.zip Open the .zip file and move the .bin file(s) onto your SD card. Safely remove the camera from your computer and power it through the mount. The red LED will then flash as the firmware updates.

I have 4 x Toyota Picnic wheel covers from my 1999 picnic. They are like new condition as I replaced them as soon as I got the car, so they would not get kerbed. Is anyone interested in buying them?

Corolla estate 1.8 range on a full tank.

2nd hybrid and 6 years so far, my Yaris only recently got into the low 60 mpg to a tank. OP said a lot short journeys, that's says it all, a few miles trip will have that effect on mpg. I would wager a bar of chocolate that his car is performing as it should. -
Commiseration.

We regularly have a van come to the top of the road with loads of cones. Greensleeves playing on the stereo. No cones get placed on the road. Strange ...

Exactly what I've found. Trip Cardiff to Taunton yesterday morning on the M5 in free traffic doing 60 to 65 mph, got 63mpg. Journey took 1hr 15mins. I know if I had pushed it harder that would have dropped to 60 or less. Return journeying the afternoon in stop start slow moving traffic (Bank Holiday traffic) took over 2 hours but I got 73mpg. Its the second time that's happened. - Today

Setting speed sensitive volume to medium seems to improve it too. I had it switched off and now it's set to medium I don't have to speak as loud as the music seems quieter when Siri activates.

Yes, it can damage the emission system on modern cars. I had a VW where I suspect the first owner was doing this, it needed a new emissions canister fitted. -
I've checked oil and almost full by the looks of it Flash, booked car in with Toyota, 10 days time to carry out the checks you advised on above, so will let you know then the outcome. Many thanks 🙋

No worse than anyone else, but anything coming from Asia (not that much) is affected by the middle east issues Hilux parts (certain parts only) appear to be hit by this Chop shops are big business, Toyota have not been big targets for this crime in the past, but with more vehicles now on the road, we are seeing some attacked. It can happen anywhere -
