    Wireless android auto.

@coreye9090 good to know, useful for short journeys. New feature popup up on Google Map, camera warnings. Previously I only saw a symbol on the map.

Our 7kW Podpoint measures 14.5kWh this time of year including losses for a full charge and 14.6kWh in the winter.

ALDI - Car Dash Cam and Mini Tool Set

Good point. I've a similar Aldi camera and mount on my Mk1 MX5 with hard suspension, so quite a jarring ride. I cleaned the screen with a degrease window cleaning spray, dried with a micropore cloth. Suction lasted 3 years until a new windscreen was required! Depends if you have magic spit or not! 🤣 This is a cheap £20 camera so one shouldn't expect bells and whistles but I paid £39 4 years ago for a similar camera and it's been fine.

    PHEV economy observations

Yes exactly. The next closest thing I can think that I could use as a metric is the % increase shown on the app. I was wondering if anyone can validate whether its fairly accurate and linear? If not, I guess I'll see what my data shows over a longer term. I expect to do more 'home charging' as the number of EV users rise and the charge point availability at work becomes more of a hinderance than the cost saving it offers.

    Voice commands

Hi Jonathan, if you can use voice commands on the sun shade then will it not document this in your owners manual."Hey Toyota" is designed for specific commands listed in the owner's manual. This is a link from a older post it may help as it lists what voice commands are available.Hope this helps https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/213513-voice-command-list/

    PHEV economy observations

Which, in turn, means that you cannot measure overall 'fuel' economy. You either stop using the granny charger so that it no longer has any effect on the calculation or invest in a Wh meter so that you can measure how much you are feeding in at home. The 14.1 kWh (max) that you have been putting in at work seems reasonable. That will include losses during charging and leaves at least 4 kWh in the car so that it can function as a HEV. The 70% figure is only an estimate from the PHEVies here - I don't believe that it is an authoritative Toyota provided figure?

    Aftermarket alarm on Aygo second-gen?

car alarm South Yorkshire or Thatcham alarm Thatcham Approved is on the device but needs to be fitted by a Thatcham approved fitter if you want it certified for insurance purposes otherwise, you can pick up an alarm and fit yourself most sellers will give you a tech sheet with wire locations and colours for your car
  19. you will not get anything off the shelf, you will have to make your own adapter, and the nav cables are expensive from Toyota but you can use it without the nav connected (that nav is very outdated now) have a look behind the radio sometimes you get extra connectors tucked down the back (you may find a grey 5 pin connector with 3 wires) you can use the radio by plugging in A and B but you will need the 24 or 28-pin connector for the Mic (Bluetooth), audio controls, reverse and hand brake
  20. Crikey. Even when I was in tech sales I only did about 25000 miles a year and I was out most days.

ALDI - Car Dash Cam and Mini Tool Set

Be aware these type of suction pad will fall off now and then. I used 3m on my dash cams and it never comes off until I take it with me to install in another car.
  22. I was told multiple times from different sources its just how its designed. Im just trying to avoid it.. and it does not bother me that much anymore (since its not an real issue).. means.. I go to D when ICE not started yet in the morning OR wait a minute before going to D, usually it helps. I was at the dealership and they tried other cars and it did too.

    MY24 Yaris Cross

I like it too. It gives more load space or a level floor. He’s a journalist at the end of the day.
