    No Charger Available 😬

Neil, you have a towing pack on order for your 2024 C-HR GR Sport. What will it tow? My 2021 1.8 litre C-HR hybrid is limited to a towing capacity of 700kg (unbraked) according to the handbook. This means a small DIY trailer, moderately loaded, as a maximum.

for all the oldies that remember Tom O'Connor, TV presenter (Name that tune), Comedian doing the clubs with Bernhard manning etc. I had a BBQ lunch around his house once.. got to see all his awards throughout his career and his sons awards as he was manager for All Saints and madness etc. at the time.

    Roads

The last time we visited Whitby, the shops fronting the harbour had become dowdy and, going into a cafe for a coffee (one we had previously visited) we were vey disappointed. The tables were now Formica covered and sticky to the touch, and the milk for the coffee was on the counter in its plastic bottle and without the cap in place. Never went back to Whitby again. This seems to be the trend with many of our coastal towns - all falling into disrepair and/or the shops changed to betting shops, charity shops, shops selling tatty gifts, etc. When I first went to Newquay (Cornwall) with my parents around 1950, that was a very select resort. Towan beach was our favourite. On our last visit to Cornwall (2019), Newquay was a place to be avoided, and I would now never think of risking a walk along Bank Street in the late evening, or the town centre in general, for that matter. Is it purely for money that the local authorities have allowed many of our coastal towns to degenerate so badly?

    Tyres?

I've been driving since 2000 and never had anything other than summer tyres.

I think I can claim to have “bumped into” a few celebrities over the years - mainly TV actors and stars in the music industry. I have never been an autographed hunter or ‘pestered’ any of them with my presence. They still need privacy when “off duty” so to speak, and are bound to be somewhere public in their everyday lives. I reckon the best accolade we can give them is to allow them what little privacy their fame allows.

    Cross Side Steps

Pick a nice day (I’m sure there will be at least one) ant take your time. Just work your way through the instructions, you’ll be fine.
  10. They will tell you the same thing on the Ford forum 😛 that these engines are not suitable for LPG because of the lack of hydraulic tappets and need to inspect the valve clearances very often. Yet there are a lot of people who installed LPG anyway, got it properly tuned and they are happy with the conversion which makes it more cost effective than diesel engines (with their own set of problems). IIRC Opel/Vauxhall 1.4 Turbo engine and 1.4 T-jet from Fiat are well suited for LPG.

Big Ron Atkinson, Tony Christie, Sue Pollard, Chris Biggins, Linda Lusardi, Brian Blessed, Frank Bruno - and many more. One of the "very minor perks" of being a photographer! 🙂
  17. Hi fellow Toyota lovers, I purchased a used Aygo Sports model 2010 last year with only 70K km driven . I am very happy with the engine and power and easily able to overtake steadily at 120kmph . I also did Netherlands to France last year and was surprised this car could be so good for even long drives. Now I need your help and experience if I will be able to do Mountain region with my Aygo with 2 person and basic luggage. I am thinking of Germany , Austria and Switzerland but I am worried if the car can go there? Any experience and advice is welcome . Thanks in advance. Kiran

Brake Servo / Parking Brake Issue

Hi, I thought too I had to replace the Servo. The silicone spray worked, but what I found was, over time the boot would work itself again into a position where it was 'leaking'. A final solution was to get the boot into a position where the 'hissing' stopped then, a simple cable tie to keep it in place sorted it all out, never had a problem since. Hope that helps.

I'm very distantly related to her, but I never met her. As I spent most of my childhood growing up in a mining village in north Derbyshire I was careful who I told!

    Electronic owners manuals

I'm looking for a service manual for a 1997 starlet, can anyone advise me where to find one or is there an E manual available
  22. 0W 20 is recommended. Make sure it's the correct specification. Can't remember but there are many posts with the spec. listed. Should be in the driver's handbook too.

I saw Cliff Mitchelmore in Oxford Street. Those of a certain age will remember his face filling the 9 or 12 inch TV screen. To my surprise his face was exactly that TV screen shaped. Also Patrick Allen in Tottenham Court Road. Trenchcoat over his shoulders as if on a coat hanger. His expression was wonderful to behold. It was a mixture of I don't want to be stopped and disappointment that he wasn't.
