Dodgy Dealer (resoloution Is Close)

just a quick description of whats happend!!

i bought my rolla T sport at then end of july for £4300 on a 2003 PFL, when i went to view the car it had a full service history, full leather seats and the usual extras,

It also had some car park dings and scratch's which was promised to be repaird before i took delivery of the rolla, 2 weeks of gettin messed around off him the car was deliverd by some ****** who obviously distracted me away from the car when it was being took off the truck,

when he left i looked over the car to find the scratchs had been butcherd with what looked like nail varnish and not even the right colour, also no service history and no oil in the engine, i mean bone dry!!!!

i immediatly rang the dealer and made my complaint, he said the service history is gonna be sent to me, and the scratches was ok, i will post pics,

after weeks n weeks he started to ignore me and not reply my emails,

i reported him to trading standards and to the finance co,

yesterday i got a call from a rep from the finance co who said that they are now sending it recorded delivery, at last and i had chips away round for a quote at the cost of £103.50 for the whole car to be touched up n polished, i emailed it off to the mediator bloke and i am getting a cheque for the value of the repairs.

SUCCESS!!!!! the dealer in question is ns car sales in warrington,

in my quest for the service history i rang toyota and gave the reg and they told me that the car was bought from vantage toyota in knaresborough and has been fully serviced by them till 2007 (60k) and for a small admin fee i can get the service history replacment,

sorry to bore you all with that but just wanted to share my story!!!

i used to have a 1993 corolla gxi which is still the one i wish i kept, so im into my rollas big time, once bitten by the corolla bug its hard to find a cure!! lol

mate that sounds like an absolute pain, im quite wary of buying 2nd hand cars from non-specialised car firms, much prefer buying from an actual Toyota garage. I got mine from knaresborough toyota, quality garage and everything seems really sound and legit there.

i've never bought on finance before, after this ordeal im goin toyota next time, the lads from knaresborough toyota was really helpfull,

i agree, they seem like a genuine honest garage!!

well, i had another call today and got told that my service history is landin on my doorstep tomorow!! and i have a 12 inch gut rod!!! ha ha,

basically all my problems still havent been sorted.

i have told em now that they have 2 weeks to finally sort it or im handing the car back as it was sold not inline with the agreed contract.

oh well, lets see!!

scratches aint to bad stone chips look cack if they aint been touched up with the propper colour,good on yeh anyway mate
