hi all, any1 from this forum have the repair manual for corolla EE90 with 2E 12 valve caburetter engine's manual....can u pls share coz i cam across some problem with my corolla ee90...tks

Caburetter tuning and also the firing timing for 2E & valve clearence....tq v much

2E engine tuning data ( for Singapore Market ) :

Spark Plugs

NGK BPR6EY or Nippon Denso W20EXR-U

Spark Plug gap 0.8mm

Ignition Timing

10 degrees BTDC (with sub-vac pipe off)

Valve Clearance - check when hot

Inlet 0.20mm

Exhaust 0.20mm

Idle Speed

manual Transmission 800 rpm

auto trans 850 rpm

CO %

1.5 ~ 2.0 %

Engine Vaccum

18.62 mmHg or more ( engine hot and at idle )

ok thank you....is there ant where to modified the air intake on the 2E engine....esp the air suction to boost up the power of the engine...
