Faulty Window Track

Just found my first problem with my 2 month old blue. While cleaning the windows the other day I found that the after opening the passenger side window it would close half way and then tilt slightly and jam.I was able to close it by holding it straight and pressing the button.

Took it to Mr T today and they told me that I needed a new window guide and that they would also have to replace the window seal. Job being done Saturday morning. Will report back once job done.

Better to find the fault now than when we get towards summer (if we get one this year B) )

I have started having the same issue with my drivers side window when it gets really cold. Jams half way and needs to be held in place in order to close fully.

Getting it looked at when my Blue goes for its one year service in about 3 weeks.

my drivers side window did the same in the pouring rain the other month. its only done it once. i couldnt decide if i should take it to get looked at whilst it was under warranty, or if it was me over reacting. my dad said it was probably the heavy rain getting on the window tracking.

Its not just a blue problem, mines a platinum. i bet the same factory makes all the window parts for the full range of aygos.

Got the window repaired last Saturday mornig. Job took about two hours and window working fine now.Lucky that this was a warranty job as according to the invoice the parts needed totalled over £200.

They were

RUN,FR DOOR GL £116.42

DOOR REGULATOR £94.01

Both plus vat.
