Brake Light Staying Lit On My Starlet

Hi,

I've just noticed that now and then when I have my headlights on and brake, my brake light stays on :censor: . If I brake again the brake lights seem to brighten :ffs: . If I then turn my headlights off it seems to fix the problem. :eek:

Any Ideas on what it could be and how I could fix it myself? ...if you can follow me????

Have you changed any of the wiring for the rear lights? as it sounds like a wiring issue. if not check the rear brake light wires are all intact and that the brake light is not getting power from the + feed for the rear lights.

you could also check the switch under the brake pedal to make sure that it is not sticking in the on position.
