Tyres For 17" Wheels?

Hi guys, am gettin a new set of wheels soon but not sure on which tyre to go for...

at the minute im thinkin of goin with 215/45/17, but not sure if that will rub or anythin?

any info would be mucho appreciated!

215/45/17 is the best tyre for the corolla. if the car in not lowered then you will have no issues whatsoever however to get the look you want the rolla does need lowering a fair bit since it's so high. 30/35mm lowering won't give any troubles and i suspect 40mm won't either however when you get to coilovers and large 40mm+ drops you may have issues. personally i think the best balance of looks and useability is a 35mm drop with 17" wheels or a 30mm drop with 18" wheels. hope that helps

cheers man! :D the car is lowered around 35-40 mm on springs so i think with the 215/45/17 the ride height and stance should just be perfect! thanks again!
