Hey, don't get high-speeds in low-gears confused with being quick! Those ridculous gear ratios are slowing the car down. It's probably intended to keep the revs down on the motorway, but with a fifth gear capable of just 110mph, and better spacing between the rest, I bet you could knock a few seconds off the 0-100mph time.

indictaed speed on teris yaris in 2nd was just below 60.

last time i was at our local dealer i was discussing this, and was told that the 1.3sr was different gear ratio to tsport and could do over 60mph in 2nd.

having to change to 3rd to hit sixty is a real drag for the 0-60 times.

my own car hits 40mph 1st

70 2nd

100 3rd

130 4th

and off clock in 5th, but restricted to 155mph.

all this on my private road in my private city.

i have a 52 plate yaris and i took mine off the clock and it did not hit the limiter it was not far off though but it suprised me i have got photos to prove it and i can show any 1 who wants to see them? B)
