Hi

I joined to see if i can get some advice re:my Rav4 TDI 4x4.

Been having problems with it recently in that the engine management light has come on the car has lost total power usually between 2000-3000revs and i have had to pull over turn the engine off and wait a few minutes. It always re-starts, took it in to have it tested no codes on the computer. Took it too my garage who said they found iron filings in the fuel line filter and fuel line, this could mean the injector pump is breaking up but may not or any number of other things all off which start at a pric tag of about £400..wondered has anyone else had this problem and if so what turned out to be the fault.

well, welcome to the forum first. I'll ask a moderator to shift this post to the RAV section, but could you add some more details to your car type - model, year, mieage??
