The last of the garden tools passed down from my Grandad finally gave up the ghost today. Most were bought before the First World War and have been in constant use ever since.

Ah, but, ah, but where will they be in 100 years time? I did have a 25hp Johm Deere tractor for 15 years while we kept livestock which, bearing in mind that the optician has to bring the Snellen Chart within 5' for me to see the top letter, could be quite exciting. People are safer if I stick to spades and forks.
