Part Needed

i'm needing help for a part number for a poly v-belt (the belt that goes round everything) in the compressor because my toyota dealer ordered in the wrong one and havn't phoned to say they have it? thanks in advance.

Although nzigerbunny is supercharging his car so worth a pm to him to see where got his from.

The standard T sport belt is 6PK 1695 - might differ on the comp if anything has been moved (alternator etc)

If you type that into eBay loads come up

most automotive fan belts are pk profile, 6pk is 6 ribs.

the length comes in almost 5mm increments most of the time so if you go to the local motor factors they should have one on the shelf for you.

How did you find fitting it? Ive got mine to do, and I found the tensioner was very hard to release (several bent spanners) last time I took the belt off

Lol my bro did his with one hand and put the belt on with the other!!

for some reason I couldnt fit the breaker bar in - there wasnt enough room to rotate it far enough. I'll try the one handed technique like your bro later this week!

I put mine into Toyota to do cuz I didn't have time to try it lol but I supplied the belt and still cost 68 quid and 2 hours :s ohwell that's what u get for being lazy haha
