Radio - Sat Nav Replacement

Hi

I plan to change the standard radio(has a tape player in it!!!!) in my 2005 Avensis T Spirit with a touch screen sat nav model to get a similar set up to the attached picture. Please can someone suggest a good replacement. I understand I will need a double DIN facia kit but can someone please confirm that the radio and the air con controls are a seperate units or are they connected?

I can't suggest a replacement unit. But this site has full instruction regarding the removal of the radio:

... and yes the air-con unit is separate from the radio/sat nav.

Quite a lot of the Toyota TNS 700 come up on eBay. They sell for around the £200-£270 mark

Is it a direct replacement? I already have a double din adapter, would I be better to get a standard double din stereo? What is the extra cable for steering controls?
