Howdy guys and Gals,

This I know has been discussed at length but just to get a definitive answer what is the best filter. Service is coming up and I am going to replace the air filter. I currently have a Blitz pannel filter and it's been fine. Reading Banzai I've noticed a bit of praise for the Pipercross offering - What do you think. Not to fussed about an induction kit at this point but let me know what you think.

Cheers

If you are going to stay with a panel filter then the blitz is probably as good as it gets IMHO

Cheers for that mate - I was thinking that would be the case just didn't know about the piper.

I have a piper cai which is great but it is actually quieter than the blitz panel filter, I haven't used the piper panel filter but I would be surprised if its any better than the blitz

while we're on this subject does anyone know about the offerings for the diesel engine? i know K&N make a panel replacement filter but i'm worried about the oil that they use and it messing up the airflow sensor. is there any company making a "free flowing" air panel filter that doesn't use oil and is "dry" like the factory filter?
