Hi avensis people,

I am wondering whether or not it would be worth remapping my engine as i believe this type of car has no turbo therefore warranting it pretty useless really?? I am just looking to do this as I cover a lot of miles and feel it would be beneficial on the mpg side of things and also additional bhp would bring a smile to my face.

Any body who could advise or give information on this topic would be greatly appreciated!!!

Cheers again, Phil

First of all the D4-D is turbo'd & secondly the ECU code hasn't been cracked by anyone in the UK tuning scene. However you will find that there are several companies offering tuning boxes, some that work & others that don't.

Hi,

The boxes aren't as good as a remap from what I've heard though, so I guess it's out the question then,

Cheers for your advice anyway mate
