Service history, rust, any signs of excessive wear and tear, damage, that kind of thing. The same you'd look for when buying any car, really.

Be aware that car insurance companies and garages don't like grey imports as they're a bit of a pain so you might have higher insurance premiums and garages might not be able to find the car on the database sometimes.
