Main reason for wanting to change to a Yaris is the lack of parts available up here for the Corolla, plus the amount of money that I would need to get the rare parts anyway!

You'll be crying in your Yaris egg crate alright don't worry the rear end of the Lupo GTi is quite fetching as it's the only view of it u'll get out of a Yaris's window....

1/4 mile times

VW Lupo GTi......16.1s

Toyota Yaris T-Sport.......18.9s

Toyota Corrolla 1.6 VVT....17.5s

Toyota Celica(140Bhp)....17.1s

Toyota Celica(190Bhjp).....15.6s(and I could still have that with my modded Lupo!)

Buy a GT4 if u must have a Toyota

Have a nice day!

:D

Ok I apologise for the bad language I am just expressing my opinion, delete the first post, no trouble intended, just a bit of fun, I have changed my username....

Yaris T-Sport.....

105Bhp

960Kg

111Bhp/Ton

0-60mph 9.7s

Lupo 1.4 Sport....

100Bhp

947Kg

107Bhp/Ton

0-60mph 9.9s

Lupo 1.6 GTi....

125Bhp

970Kg

129Bhp/Ton

0-60mph 7.7s

The Yaris T-Sport is more of the equivalent of the Lupo Sport do you not think?

They'll be several Lupo Gti's, Sports and ...erm 1l Lupos at GTi international in a few weeks if anyone still isn't convinced! I'd actually quite like to see a Lupo Sport and Yaris T-sport, both in unmodded condition do the 1/4 mile run together as I think it would be close! Any takers?

Ha Ha ha so hold on Jaxx are you saying that you think Toyota make the Yaris T-Sport faster than they say it is?

It can beat 0-60 in 7.7 seconds can it?

right

so your opinion is that a Yaris with "17s" can beat a Lupo GTI ?

VW have underestimated BHP - most GTIs on rolling roads have got 130bhp ++
