Temperature On Tyres

Hi All

I have got a LC 5 (KDJ 150) with ABS etc. I got this as an upgrade to a my old Prado. One thing I notice is the temperature on the tires (Centre of the rim/Wheel hub). It is very high compared to the previous model. After a run of about 50KMs I cannot touch the brake disk. It is very hot. Temperature on the tires are about 40-45C. Almost all the tires are having the same temperature, rear is a bit high.

Are there any tips to know whether the brakes are bind/locked before it starts smoking on a long run? My brakes are working good. Hand brakes also apply very well. Just playing safe because I want to avoid a disaster after an off road.

Regards

Nana
