You see very very very few small cars in the US. I lived out there for about a year, and the smallest I saw in that period of time was a mini. Saw an advert on at the cinema for a new, revolutionary, super environmentally friendly car that will change the world. It was offering around 33MPG. (I am aware American MPG is slightly different, but still, its hardly anything to shout about!)
